You have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for the exercise of the privacy rights conferred by the CCPA.
Personal information we collect about you and purposes for which we collect it
Criteo collects the following categories of personal information for the purpose of displaying personalized ads:
- Identifiers (e.g. Cookie IDs, Mobile Advertising IDs, hashed email addresses, IP addresses, User Agent, etc.)
- Internet or other electronic network activity information:
- Browsing history (e.g. URL of the websites browsed, name of the apps opened)
- Interactions with an Internet Web site, mobile application or advertisement (e.g. ads seen, clicked, etc.)
- Commercial information, including records of products or services purchased, obtained, or considered (e.g. products seen, put in basket, bought)
In the preceding twelve (12) months, we have shared, and/or sold, the above mentioned categories of personal information for the commercial purpose of providing cross-context behavioral advertising with the categories of third parties described in ‘The categories of recipients of your data’ under the section How we use your data.
We collect data primarily for marketing, advertising (e.g., cross-context behavioral advertising), and analytical services. Additionally, we use collected data for:
- Auditing: Counting ad impressions and verifying quality with unique IDs.
- Debugging: Fixing errors to keep services functional.
- Security: Detecting and protecting against threats.
- Research & Development: Researching for tech development and service performance.
- Quality & Safety: Improving our services’ quality and safety.
We disclose personal data for business purposes as outlined above. The categories of personal information are disclosed or shared with the categories of third parties described in ‘The categories of recipients of your data’ under the section How we use your data.
